街で愛される「猫」の姿を掛け合わせ、

佐世保の多様性と優しさを表現しました。

バンズの体、チーズの首輪、そしてポテトの鍵尻尾がチャームポイント。

「KAIJU」として、佐世保の魅力を世界へ発信！

Sasebo Kaiju Nyaon™️

A luck-bringing Kaiju born from the fusion of a Sasebo Haｍburger and a cat.

By combining the "Sasebo Hamburger," a harmony of diverse ingredients,

with the beloved local "cats," Nyaon represents the diversity and warmth of Sasebo.

Its charm points are a fluffy bun body, a melting cheese collar, and a lucky french-fry hooked tail. As a "KAIJU," Nyaon is spreading the charm of Sasebo to the world!

父の死をきっかけにお墓参りで訪れるようになった

佐世保・小値賀の街並みに深く魅了され、

「プロの技術でこの土地に恩返しをしたい」

という想いから本プロジェクトを始動。

作画監督『新劇場版頭文字D』『進撃の巨人 Season 2』など。

Following her father's passing,

she began visiting Sasebo and

Ojika for memorial services and was deeply captivated by

the local scenery. She launched this project with a strong desire to

"give back to this region using my professional skills."

佐世保怪獣ニャオーンは、プロのアニメーターである横山愛が考案したオリジナルキャラクターです。

ルーツである長崎県への思いから生まれました。

「猫」の可愛らしさ、「佐世保ハンバーガー」の多様性、そして世界で通じる「怪獣（KAIJU）」の要素を掛け合わせています。

キャラクターの力で佐世保の地域活性化とグローバルな魅力発信を目指します。

活動目標

地元店舗とのコラボ：各店舗限定のデザインやイラストカードの配布、コラボメニューを展開して街の回遊性を高めます。
グッズ展開と世界発信：観光のお供になるアクリルスタンドや、海外コレクター向けのソフビフィギュアを制作し、国内や海外のイベントでアピールします。

地域社会への貢献

動物愛護の推進：売上の一部を保護猫＆犬基金などに寄付し、動物と人が共に幸せに暮らせる街づくりを支援します。
次世代クリエイターの育成：地元に居ながらプロの技術を学べる実践的なワークショップを開催し、若者の自立を支援します。
サブカルイベントの開催：プロと若手、世界中のファンが交流できるペット同伴可能なアートフェスティバルを開催し、佐世保の新たな魅力を創出します。

Project Overview

Sasebo Kaiju Nyaon is an original character created by professional animator Ai Yokoyama. It was born out of her deep affection for her roots in Nagasaki Prefecture. The character combines the cuteness of a "cat," the diversity of a "Sasebo Hamburger," and the globally recognized elements of a "Kaiju" (monster). Through the power of this character, we aim to revitalize the local community of Sasebo and promote its appeal to a global audience.

Activity Goals

Collaborating with Local Businesses:We will increase foot traffic around the city by offering store-exclusive designs, distributing illustration cards, and developing collaboration menus.
Merchandise Development & Global Promotion:We will produce acrylic stands as travel companions and soft vinyl figures for overseas collectors, promoting them at events both domestically and internationally.

Contribution to the Local Community

Promoting Animal Welfare:A portion of the sales will be donated to protective cat funds and similar organizations, supporting the creation of a city where cats and people can live happily together.
Nurturing the Next Generation of Creators:We will hold practical workshops where young people can learn professional skills while staying in their hometown, supporting their independence and growth.
Hosting Subculture Events:We will create a new charm for Sasebo by hosting pet-friendly art festivals where professionals, young creators, and fans from all over the world can interact.
